Wellbeing Services

BSV logo BluOW orange birds tagline.jpg

A positive health and wellbeing culture requires more than a weekly basket of fruit, a gym membership or other such tick box exercises. It requires a proactive, preventative approach embedded in connection, compassion and choice and it is up to each of us to ensure that an appropriate provision is accessible to every individual regardless or their role or working environment.

The services that are currently most popular in supporting businesses are;

  • Mental health hubs. A walk-in service in your office aimed at listening, sign-posting and providing non-judgemental support. Providing an outlet like this is the most thing useful thing you can offer people to avoid mental ill health resulting in prolonged absence from work, staff turnover and stress related issues such as depression, dependency and anxiety.

  • Working Walk and Talks. An alternative to a sit-down surgery. There's something very easy about walking and talking outside.  Being next to someone takes away the barriers and enables a person to open up more quickly.  This is a very effective way of providing mental health support.

  • MOTS. Sessions designed to review all aspects of life to identify areas which may need more attention or benefit from a different approach.

  • Relax and Reset. Lunchtime sessions to achieve wellbeing in the workplace with ease.

'It was refreshing and highlighted some areas to work on that I had not expected. The most useful part was accessibility. Catherine was on site, in a discreet area. Her relaxed, calm and comfortable approach to conversations made me feel at ease'.

'Being able to talk to someone impartial at a time when I really needed it was really helpful'.

'Everyone found the initial MOT sessions really helpful in being able to discuss issues both at work and in their personal lives, and a couple have commented on how easy they found Catherine to talk to. The regular drop-in sessions are seen as a really useful way of checking in on any mental health concerns and give the staff reassurance that there is support available to them on a regular basis. I’m really pleased we engaged Catherine for the benefit of a healthy workforce'.
